Teams

The Teams tab lists Special Teams and Face-Off metrics on a team level.

Players

The Players tab is divided into Defensemen and Forwards. It provides information about the deployment and the performance of the players. 

In the Time on Ice section, the deployment of a player can be studied in terms of different strength states.

In the Normalized Output section, the on-ice performance for each player is listed. The team value is indicated in blue. The section is divided into Offense, measuring the team's offensive output when a player is on the ice. 

• Generated Output
  • What does it measure?
    The offensive output of the team when player x was on the ice.
  • What does it measure?
    Did the player help the offensive output of the team.
• Allowed Opponent Output
  • What does it measure?
    The opponent's offensive output of the team when player x was on the ice.
  • What does it measure?
    Did the player help reduce the opponent's output.
• Generated Output
  • What does it measure?
    The team’s performance when player x was on the ice
  • What does it measure?
    Did the player help the performance of the team.
